After the movie, we had lunch at Frost Cafe. Students had the opportunity to practice functional skills in a community setting.
On Wednesday, September 16, we saw The Avengers. Students and adults all loved this movie. Afterward, we ate at Atheneans Restaurant. We enjoyed discussing our favorite characters and scenes in the movie while we enjoyed our delicious meals.
Our first field trip was a golf outing to Highland
Golf Park in Ruckersville on Tuesday, October 6,
followed by lunch at Vinny's New York Pizza.
Students practiced a lifetime leisure skill as well
as good sportsmanship and social skills.
On Wednesday, October 14, we went to the
Harvest Festival at Belvedere Plantation in
Fredericksburg. This trip emphasized
on-the-farm learning as well as fun with
friends. Each student chose a pumpkin to take home. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious buffet

Hotel Transylvania followed by lunch
at Chili's. Students enjoyed using their social
